1 Merdre, 131 E.P. (May 18, 2003) - 1:59 p.m. *waves*Actually, there was one other thing that happened between my last entry and the one before that; I went to a movie I'd been awaiting for a while (even if I wasn't happy with its predecessor only getting a deluxe-edition DVD after I'd gotten the basic version). I've since been to another eagerly anticipated sequel, this one too on its opening day. That's really about as eventful as my "life" gets. A while back, my old fiend "Rooftop" Rufus Desmond, finally deigning to use his real name on the blog he stole from me, indulged in a bit of pop-psych speculation about my reasons for reacting a certain way to a certain idea from CB. I'd be very interested to see what he has to say about some of my other quirks. (Particularly the one that held up this entry for a while: my occasional doubts about whether anyone actually wants to hear what I have to say, and if so why.) In between then and now, what was meant to be a visit to my brother's place, on the occasion of a visit by a cousin of my father, ran longer than intended. We still stopped at a dying mall on the way back, and a good thing too, by my lights at least, as the latest adventure of a certain young crime-fightin' master criminal was out. (CB may not take this news as worth relating; she was burned by purchasing the first book in hardcover on my say-so. The second one's in paperback now, at least in the US, and Foaly gets an expanded role in it; as he was the one character she liked, this may get her to pick it up. Then again, given higher book prices over there, it may not, but at least the information's out there for her to act on as she sees fit.) And now, for those of you with bandwidth to burn, video clips. If you think Crouching Tiger took itself too seriously, here's something you might like. If you like P.O.D. and or Matrix Reloaded, then this is for you. If you like anime and the Matrix (and, let's face it, the movies are live-action films informed by an anime sensibility), this is what you've been waiting for. And, to cap off this blazingly irrelevant entry, the web's most blazingly irrelevant category of anything: online personality quizzes.
