1 Vendemaire, A.R. CCXII (Sept. 22, 2003) - 6:57 p.m.

In which our plucky young zero will see you in the funny papers.

Sorry I'm late. Had a computer die out from under me, then had to transfer files from it. Those files contained a number of posts I'd had in development on that machine, but hadn't posted (or, in some cases, finished) because Notepad, on that box, displays in a font that almost literally scars my corneas. This is one of those posts.

And now, in the name of utter frivolity, every webcomic and animation site on my bookmarks, in alphabetical order by strip title.

Translations of a very funny manga.

BAF!

Well, the birds like it.

The Light Warriors.

Do webdrones dream of...?

Still a good way to relax after a hard day.

The Pattersons.

Some of the most honest reporting on the state of America and the world. (Not work-safe.)

[Piece of text I pasted from a story by DM deleted at 3:27 p.m. on 2 Vendemaire, along with several other corrections. Admission that it used to be here maintained, as a reminder to myself that using already-open Notepad files as a spare clipboard is not such a hot idea.]

I couldn't think of a clever comment here, or at least, not of one that could be legally spoken. (This isn't work-safe either. The strip starts here or here, depending on your point of view.)

Squiggly knees and all.

It's dot com! You'll probably find this is the least annoying way in.

Heaven, hell and furries. (Not very work-safe.)

The dicks in your mouth will continue until my morale improves. (Not too work-safe.)

The touching story of a girl and her space despot.

The genuine article.

Micah and his posse.

Short and to the point.

Is it a dating sim or an FPS?

The greatest super-power of all.

And the cat came back, the very next day, with a perfunctory nod to the RIAA...

Straight outta Singapore.

The new Calvin and Hobbes.

Tycho and Gabe.

Your goddess. (Well, mine anyway.)

The other Kestrel.

"Real" being a relative word here.

Press any me to continue. (Not only is this not work-safe, sometimes it's not even human-safe.)

Calvin and Hormones.

Still nifty, even to those of us who don't worship it anymore.

Davan and friends.

Teen Girl Squad! (It all started here.)

Twisted Kaiju Theatre.

The random imitation.

Yes, as a matter of fact, you do have feet.

If Alice from Dilbert were 10 years younger...

The people who make the goddess happen.

The everyday happenings of two pie-loving eggs.

Not really work-safe.

XQUZYPHYR & Overboard.

And, out of order, the place I learned of the goddess. (This part of it is just a collection of Wacky Asian Flash their title for it, in fact and the main site is largely untainted by the spoor of the host.)
